Framing Workshop Assistant - Full Time Hours including a weekend day
We are looking for a positive, practical, and reliable person to join our framing workshop team in Rhosneigr.
This is a hands-on role assisting with the production of bespoke picture framing for Janet Bell artwork and prints. Previous framing experience would be an advantage, but it is not essential. Full training will be provided, so we are primarily looking for someone with the right attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn. As our workshop is often very busy, we are looking for someone who can work efficiently, stay organised, and remain calm when managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
Key responsibilities:
Assisting with the preparation and assembly of picture frames using professional framing equipment
Cutting and preparing glass and backing boards
Handling artwork and prints with care and attention
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment
Supporting the framing team with day-to-day workshop tasks
Helping to ensure all work meets our high standards of quality and presentation
The ideal candidate will need to be:
- Practical and comfortable working with their hands
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Keen to learn new skills and take pride in their work
- Interested in art, design, craft, or making would be an advantage, but not essential
- Must be 18 years of age or over
- Must hold a full, valid driving licence with have access to their own vehicle
- This is a physical role. Successful candidates should be comfortable being on their feet - for much of the day, lifting, carrying, unpacking deliveries, and moving large frames and heavy boxes as part of the day-to-day operation of the workshop.

Retail Sales Assistant - Full and Part Time Hours Available
We are looking for hardworking, reliable, and enthusiastic Retail Sales Assistants to join our team across our Beaumaris and Rhosneigr stores.
This is a varied and hands-on role within a busy retail environment. We are seeking individuals who take pride in their work, have excellent attention to detail, and are committed to delivering outstanding customer service. The successful candidate will be flexible, able to take instruction well, and willing to support all aspects of the day-to-day running of our stores.
While full training will be provided, previous experience in retail or hospitality is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing a warm, friendly, and professional customer experience
- Assisting customers with purchases and product enquiries
- Operating the till and handling transactions accurately
- Restocking shelves and maintaining product displays
- Ensuring the shop floor is clean, tidy, and well presented at all times
- Assisting with deliveries and stock management
- Following instructions and completing tasks efficiently
- Supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive team environment
- Helping maintain the high standards associated with the Janet Bell brand
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have previous experience in retail or hospitality
- Be hardworking, reliable, and punctual
- Have excellent customer service and communication skills
- Be comfortable working in a busy environment and managing multiple tasks
- Be able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Take instruction well and demonstrate a positive attitude
- Be flexible and willing to work across both store locations when required
Essential Requirements
- Must be available on weekends
- Must be 18 years of age or over
- Must hold a full, valid driving licence with have access to their own vehicle
- Must be able to travel between our Beaumaris and Rhosneigr stores as required
