Founded in 2001, The Braided Rug Company of Aberdovey have dedicated themselves to translating this, very American, traditionally woven rug style, into a soft furnishing staple for the modern home. As with many of our favourites, it is this blend of tradition and modernity that keeps their designs looking timeless and makes for high-quality, long-lasting pieces to treasure, whatever your home or personal style.   

Made of 100% Organic, pesticide free, jute; each rug is hard-wearing enough for daily use, though will appreciate being keep out of direct sunlight, and the occasional spot-clean. 

Since 2010, the company have worked with a small manufacturer in Bangladesh, who use locally grown jute to create these incredible works of art. The Braided Rug Company have created jobs and great working relationships with their craftsmen and women, ensuring high standards of employee welfare.
